An explosion outside New York City‘s 26 Federal Plaza sparked a fire and prompted a major emergency response Monday morning, authorities said.

One person was taken into custody following the incident outside the Lower Manhattan federal building, which houses agencies including the FBI and Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
FDNY said that four people suffered minor, non-life-threatening injuries; three declined medical transport, while one person was taken to NewYork-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital.

“This morning an individual deployed an incendiary device outside of 26 Federal Plaza. The individual has been taken into custody and the FBI New York Office is investigating the incident,” the FBI said in a statement to Newsweek.
