A woman was struck with her own vehicle while being carjacked amid a large fight that broke out at a motorcyclist gathering in Old Town Victorville early Saturday, officials said.

The incident was first reported about 2:30 a.m. July 25 in the area of Seventh and B streets, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
About 60 people were gathered for a motorcycle event when a fight broke out, sheriff’s department spokeswoman Jenny Smith said.
“In an effort to assist a family member who was at the location at the time of the fight, the victim exited her vehicle, leaving the engine running,” according to Smith. “A short time later an unknown suspect was seen driving the vehicle.”
At one point, the fleeing driver put the car into reverse and struck the victim, Smith added.
Fearing for their safety, the victim and her family fled the area and called for help.

Deputies found the just-stolen car abandoned in the area of Sixth and B streets, officials said. The thief remained at large.
The condition of the victim was not clear, however, no ambulance was summoned to respond to the scene.
