Pressed Juicery on 414 K St. closed this month, marking the third business closure for the shopping mall anchored by the Golden 1 Center this summer. The juice store specializes in cold-pressed juices and protein bowls.
The DoCo Pressed Juicery location opened in 2018. The company did not respond to a request for an interview.

Two other Pressed locations closed in Sacramento County this year, R Street in the Ice Blocks shopping center and another in the Palladio Mall shopping center in Folsom. Mike Heller, the developer and managing partner of Ice Blocks, told The Sacramento Bee the R Street location decided to not renew its lease.
The nearest Pressed Juicery in the Sacramento region is in Roseville at 1182 Roseville Parkway in the Fountains shopping mall, according to the chain’s website.

Two other businesses have closed this summer in DoCo. In June, the Indian fusion pizzeria, Tandoori Pizza, closed. Its next door neighbor, Cakes by Jeff, is set to close July 31.
Pressed Juicery started in Los Angeles in 2010, and grew to more than 200 locations across the country, according to its website. The chain prides itself on selling “nutrient-rich beverages made from plant-based, mindfully sourced ingredients.”
Its products can also be found in grocery stores and is are available for wholesale.
