The Rocklin Area Chamber of Commerce has a new leader.
Kathleen McCorry, a longtime nonprofit executive with more than 25 years of management experience, has been named the chamber’s new chief executive officer.

McCorry has held leadership roles at chambers of commerce in California and Washington, including the Madera County, Mariposa County and South County chambers in California and the Greater Issaquah Chamber in Washington.

She succeeds Robin Trimble, who retired earlier this year after more than 20 years as the Rocklin chamber’s CEO.
Greg Roberson, chair of the chamber’s board of directors, said McCorry’s experience at multiple chambers was a key asset as she takes over the organization.
“We are thrilled to have Kathleen join the Rocklin Chamber,” Roberson said. “We look forward to her engaging with the community as she takes on the job of leading our efforts to support local businesses.”

McCorry said she plans to spend time getting to know the Rocklin community and its business owners.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity to lead the Chamber in one of California’s premier communities,” McCorry said. “Rocklin is well-known as a great place to live and do business.”
McCorry is a graduate of the Western Association of Chamber Executives Academy.
The Rocklin Area Chamber hosts several high-profile community events throughout the year, including the Hot Chili & Cool Cars Festival in September, the Rocklin Tree Lighting in December and the annual State of the City event in June.
The chamber also oversees Leadership Rocklin, a community leadership program that has operated for more than two decades.
