A Wildberries warehouse near Moscow caught fire after a Ukrainian drone strike, the regional governor said, part of one of the largest recent attacks on the broader capital area.

Separately, Kremlin forces continued to target Odesa and other parts of Ukraine’s Black Sea region, as well as Kyiv, with missiles and drones. Romania’s defense ministry said a Spanish fighter jet deployed on NATO duties shot down a drone that entered its airspace from Moldova near the Ukrainian border early Sunday.
Air defenses shot down or suppressed 187 drones overnight across the Moscow region, governor Andrey Vorobyev said. Fires were reported at a pharmaceutical warehouse in Domodedovo and at an industrial facility in Voskresensk that wasn’t identified. Three people were injured in the attacks.
The e-commerce giant Wildberries, Russia’s version of Amazon, has become a recurring target in Ukraine’s campaign against Russian logistics infrastructure. At least 20 of the company’s warehouses have been attacked since mid-July. The Koledino distribution center hit overnight is one of Wildberries’ major Moscow-region hubs.
Overall, Russia’s defense ministry said it intercepted a record 822 Ukrainian drones overnight.
Russian forces launched missile and drone attacks against Kyiv on Sunday, sparking fires in at least two districts of the Ukrainian capital, Mayor Vitali Klitschko said.
Ukraine’s air force said Russia targeted the Kyiv, Kremenchuk and Kryvyi Rih regions with ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as drones. Air defenses shot down or suppressed three cruise missiles and 85 drones, while strikes were recorded at 13 locations. In line with the recent practice it didn’t give the total number of detected missile launches.

Russia’s defense ministry said the strikes targeted military-industrial facilities in Kyiv, the Kremenchuk oil refinery in Poltava region, and the ArcelorMittal mining and metallurgical complex in Kryvyi Rih.
The main energy and blast furnace production facility at the Kryvyi Rih facility was damaged and production suspended, according to RBC-Ukraine. Two people were killed and 14 injured in the strike, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on X. Another person was killed in Sumy in northern Ukraine and six injured in the capital and surrounding region, he said.
The Russian ministry also said it used attack drones hit a bulk carrier carrying military equipment for Ukraine’s armed forces in the port of Odesa. The claims couldn’t be independently verified.
Romania’s defense ministry said it shot down a drone that breached its airspace, the latest instance of a UAV straying into the territory of the NATO member. Similar incidents have been reported in Poland and the Baltic states, as well as Bulgaria.
“Romania is defending its airspace, and our allies are standing with us,” Defense Minister Radu Miruta said on X. “Romania is on the front line of the European Union’s defense.”
The drone entered from Moldovan airspace early Sunday. A Spanish F18 fighter jet intercepted the drone about 24 kilometers (15 miles) north of Galati, a port town on the Danube about 240 km southwest of Odesa.
