Neighborhood cafe opens in Sacramento with bites and brew for the Capitol Mall crowd

A new coffee shop has opened along the Capitol Mall, serving the Capitol workers and Sacramento residents alike.

Baker’s Brew Cafe is now open at 621 Capitol Mall, Suite 107, tucked away off L Street. The coffeehouse, the only Baker’s Brew in Sacramento, posted on social media about its fresh brews and sandwiches that “energize your mornings.”

“Our cafe was built with a passion for bringing people together over handcrafted beverages, freshly baked pastries, hearty sandwiches, and delicious cafe-style meals served in a warm and welcoming atmosphere,” the website read.

The cafe’s sandwich menu includes a turkey club sandwich, chipotle chicken sandwich, and a “G1 Italian” sandwich with smoked ham, salami, pepperoni, and provolone on a variety of greens, tomato, and red onion.

“We focus on creating comforting flavors, a cozy cafe experience, and memorable moments that keep our guests coming back again and again,” the cafe’s owners wrote about what customers could expect when they drop in.

An array of coffee drinks include standard espresso and Americano coffees to its signature banana bread latte. It also offers a morning wakeup with its lotus energy drinks, fruit smoothies, and matcha.

The cafe is open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the weekends.
