The road will be closed between Highway 50 and White Rock Road for pavement repairs, the release said.

Some Folsom residents have expressed frustration with the condition of the road.
“Prairie City Road south of Highway 50 is exceedingly dangerous,” one Folsom resident responded to a recent survey that solicited ideas to improve the city.
“Blind corners, no shoulders, and terrible pavement and potholes,” they wrote. “Thousands of large trucks and cars access this route daily. A redesign is necessary for public safety.”
