Elk Grove’s Diversity Dining Week is returning in early September, with more than 40 restaurants of a variety of cuisines offering discounts on meals, in partnership with the City of Elk Grove.
For 10 days, select eateries around town have deals available, such as buy-one-get-one free dishes or discounts on guests’ entire bills.
Participating diners also have an opportunity to win a gift card good for various Elk Grove businesses by sharing their experience during Diversity Dining Week on social media and tagging @ExploreElkGrove, according to a news release from the city.

During the 10-day stretch of Sept. 4-13, eateries around Elk Grove are implementing limited-time deals to encourage visitors to check out different menu items or unfamiliar cuisines.

In previous years, pre-registration for the Diversity Dining Week or signing up for a mobile passport were required to participate, according to the event’s website. However, this year diners must simply ask their servers about the restaurant’s offer, or enter a special code when ordering online, to redeem it.
According to the city’s news release, offers range from 50% off regular-priced appetizers at Fujiya to 25% off guests’ entire bills at Original Sal’s Kabob & Gyro Grill.
Which restaurants are part of Elk Grove’s Diversity Dining Week 2026?
This year, 45 Elk Grove eateries are participating in the annual dining celebration, spanning the Highway 99 corridor and outward toward the Laguna West and Sheldon areas.
