The estranged wife of former NFL star Marcellus Wiley has been granted a restraining order.

Marcellus Wiley, a former NFL player turned sports media personality, is in an ugly divorce battle with his wife, Annemarie Wiley. This week, the estranged wife of the former NFL star was granted a major win in court.
Annemarie Wiley has been granted court-ordered protection against him and sole custody of their kids.
“According to new legal docs obtained by TMZ, Marcellus has been ordered to stay 100 yards away from Annemarie and their three kids … other than during monitored visits,” TMZ Sports reports.
“Per the order, Marcellus will start with monitored visits with his kids … twice during the week and once on the weekend … and after proof that he’s completed 5 court-ordered domestic violence classes, he can have those visits unmonitored. Once he finishes 26 classes, Marcellus and Annemarie can meet and confer to discuss extended parenting time for Marcellus that possibly includes overnights … according to the court order.”

The former NFL star is allowed to attend his kids’ activities, like sporting events, but he must stay 20 yards away.
Wiley was arrested earlier this summer for an alleged domestic incident.
“Nothing had occurred that morning that would have caused me to believe police had been contacted. I was completely surprised when law enforcement officers arrived,” he claimed in the court documents.
“I was arrested in front of my children and others who were present,” the declaration continues. “It was one of the most humiliating and heartbreaking experiences of my life, particularly because I knew I had not abused my wife or my children.”

Wiley, 51, played in the NFL from 1997 until 2006.
