Dana White‘s admiration of Jon Jones is no secret.
The UFC CEO has had an up-and-down relationship with ‘Bones’ over the years, but one thing that has remained true: White’s appreciation of Jones’ talent. Despite seeming to have used all superlatives, White continues to exhaust praise toward the former two-division UFC champion.

Dana White recently spoke to Night Cap, hosted by Shannon Sharpe, to share his respect for Jon Jones.
“Jon Jones is the baddest dude to ever walk the face of the Earth,” White said. “He is. People always bust my balls when I say it. Jon Jones is a, not just a stone-cold killer in the octagon; that guy is dark. He is dark.”
“Jon Jones is obviously physically talented. He comes from a family of freaks, right? Physical freaks… he comes from a very talented family. And he’s got that killer instinct, man.”
Aside from clearly being one of, if not the, greatest fighters in UFC history, Dana White admires Jon Jones’ bloodlust. His love of violence.

Speaking about some of his favorite Jones moments, White recalled two viral videos that demonstrate the vicious nature alive in Jones’ mind.
“There’s a video online where him and Daniel Cormier are in separate rooms. And Daniel Cormier is no punk. Daniel Cormier is a bad dude whom I respect, too. And, you know, they weren’t on camera; they thought, ’cause they weren’t live. And they could hear each other. DC says, ‘I’ll come over there and spit in your face.’ And Jon Jones says, ‘You know, if you ever did that, I’d kill you.’ He says, ‘No, I’m telling you. I’ll kill you if you ever spit in my face.’ And you don’t not believe Jon and what he’s saying.”
Dana White continued:
“One of my favorite videos, too, online. There’s some big dude that shows up at an appearance that Jon is doing. And he starts yelling sh*t at Jon and heckling him. I don’t know what their past experience is, but Jon, you could tell, gets very awkward. Like, ‘Oh god, this is happening. This guy’s yelling sh*t at me or whatever.’”
“Then he says something about his [brothers]. This big dude’s trying to push in past everybody. Then, he says something about Jon’s brothers. And as soon as he mentions his brothers, Jon walks around from behind the counter and his whole face and demeanor changes, and he says to the security guys, ‘Do not hold him back. Do not hold him back.’ I got f***ing goosebumps telling you guys this story. I’m telling you, this guy’s a stone-cold f***ing killer, man.”
