The Washington Commanders and Philadelphia Eagles will open their 2026 NFL seasons with an NFC East matchup at Lincoln Financial Field. Philadelphia is coming off a season in which it went 5-0 in season openers under head coach Nick Sirianni.
The Eagles will have Jalen Hurts leading an offense that enters the season with several changes, while the Commanders will rely on Jayden Daniels at quarterback. Washington also enters the game with new coordinators on both sides of the ball.
The Week 1 matchup is scheduled for the late Sunday afternoon window and will be available to viewers in the United States through Fox. Kevin Burkhardt, Tom Brady, Erin Andrews and Tom Rinaldi will handle the national broadcast.
