Travis Kelce’s nieces had to break a cute habit when first meeting Taylor Swift

Cruise was in town to talk with Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and his big brother, Jason, the ESPN analyst and former Eagles center. On the latest episode of the New Heights podcast, the Kelces said they have a special episode coming Friday with Cruise, whose new movie “Digger” will be released soon.

“That’s the thing about Tom is you could just kind of hang with him and get some cool insights,” Travis said.

Jason interjected: “The fact that you call him Tom is crazy to me. I feel like when somebody gets that famous you just call them Tom Cruise.”

The brothers then recalled Jason’s daughters having the same issue with worldwide singing sensation Taylor Swift after she began dating Travis.

Jason Kelce has four daughters: Wyatt, age 6; Elliotte, age 5; Bennett, age 3; and Finnley, who is 1.

“We had to like break that habit of the girls,” Travis Kelce said, “When they got to meet Aunt Tay Tay, they were calling her Taylor Swift.”

Jason added: “’Taylor Swift, can I do this? Taylor Swift.’ You can call her Taylor.”

Travis Kelce, who loves being an uncle to the four girls, said it was adorable.
