Groceries, household goods, electronics, and personal care items will all be available for delivery.
On Sept. 17, Doordash added Costco to its online storefront for the first time in the United States. While DoorDash had offered delivery from the membership-only warehouse in other markets abroad, it had been long requested by American customers, said the company in a Thursday statement.
“Costco members have been asking for Costco on DoorDash, and today we’re delivering,” said Mike Goldblatt, vice president of Enterprise Partnerships at the San Francisco-based company.
On Sept. 16, Uber Eats announced the expansion of its Costco delivery footprint. For years, the company only offered Costco deliveries in 17 states. Wednesday, Uber Eats expanded to 47 states, leaving out only those that lack Costco stores: Rhode Island, West Virginia, and Wyoming.

Costco members in California, plus New York, Illinois, and Michigan, can now purchase Costco products through Uber Eats. “We are thrilled to expand our partnership with Costco nationwide, giving Costco members more ways to shop and bringing the brand’s storied selection and value to more consumers,” said Andrew Macdonald, president and chief operating officer at Uber in a statement.
Both DoorDash and Uber Eats will ask shoppers to link to their Costco accounts within their apps.
According to DoorDash, “Consumers who are not yet Costco members can follow a link to Costco.com to purchase a membership, then return to DoorDash and link their new account.” Uber Eats, on the other hand, will have customers link to their accounts upon checkout.
Uber Eats is also offering discounts for Costco members who use its delivery service, including;
