The Indiana Fever got another win, defeating the Minnesota Lynx 96-77 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Tuesday. Caitlin Clark led the Fever with 27 points to go along with seven rebounds, nine assists and four steals.

Kelsey Mitchell chipped in 20 points, while Aliyah Boston had 17 points and seven rebounds. The No. 1 seed Lynx were led by Chloe Bibby’s 15 points and Liatu King’s 12, both coming off the bench.
Despite the lopsided final score, Indiana struggled in the third quarter. They scored just 14 points to Minnesota’s 30. Clark acknowledged the Fever’s struggles after the break, criticizing her team for their lackluster effort.
“I thought our third quarter was a little bit sloppy,” the three-time WNBA All-Star said. “They went zone, and that stopped our flow a little bit. And we’re fouling and not being able to play in transition.”
But the Fever ultimately held off the Lynx’s big run. Clark praised her team’s strong finish.

“I thought it was a good game for us,” she said. “We got off to a great start, and we were able to find a way to close it and get the big win.”
“Just proud of this group, and just thankful for these fans.”

The Fever have only one game remaining in the regular season. They are currently fifth in the WNBA standings with a 28-15 record. Indiana can secure a home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs if they finish within the top four.
Indiana’s last regular-season game will also be against the Lynx. They will travel to Target Center on Thursday. Clark and Co. will look to finish the regular season with a win to carry the momentum into the playoffs.
