Taylor Swift wrote a love song for Chiefs’ Travis Kelce and his hometown

When Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and superstar singer Taylor Swift began dating, the haters/doubters were out in full force.

Some said Kelce and Swift were using the relationship to gain more notoriety. Others couldn’t believe Swift would go for a football player. There also was talk about how Kelce would love her and leave her. And then Swift would crush Kelce and the Chiefs in an album.

Funny thing is, there love only deepened and the couple was married in July, and they reportedly recited their own vows.

Swift did end up writing songs about Kelce, but they’re all positive and sometimes a little risqué. One is “Wood,” which is on the album, “The Life of a Showgirl.” Swift on Friday released four new songs to that record for “The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore.”

One is called “Cleveland!” and it’s a love letter to Kelce and his hometown. And she answers the haters/doubters in a light and bubbly way.

In it, Swift sings: “The taste of me is acquired, but it’s his favorite dish” and referenced their marriage by singing: “Now I’m wearin’ white, so hate all you like. This is the love of my life”
