Report blows the lid off Diddy’s life in prison: ‘This is not normal’

Sean “Diddy” Combs is getting out of prison sooner rather than later.

The disgraced rapper’s release date from FCI Fort Dix has shifted once again, putting him on the outside Jan. 21, 2028, according to the Bureau of Prisons website for inmate No. 37452-054. Originally the 56-year-old Harlem native was sentenced to 50 months on prostitution-related charges. The stretch at the low‑security federal prison began last October and was projected to end June 2028.

We reached out to the singer’s rep for clarification on the issue on Wednesday.

“We are never told how the Bureau of Prisons calculates time served, good behavior, merit and even negative issues, nor do we know the reasons,” Juda Engelmayer told the Miami Herald via email. “It’s as much of a question for us as it is for anyone watching the website.”

That said, we’re not so sure Combs wants out so quickly. According to an NBC News bombshell on Tuesday, the music mogul’s conditions behind bars, while still a far cry from his Star Island digs, aren’t half bad.

Four former inmates from the same unit spoke with the national outlet revealing Combs gets certain privileges that others don’t. That includes fellow inmates who cook, clean, do his laundry, and even give him “Chinese-style massages.” We Googled that term, and the practice involves the masseur balancing the body’s energy or Qi and relieving tension through pressure points instead of rubbing stress away like the Swedes do.

“This is not some normal s— you see in jail. This is some rich s—,” said one of the men, whose identity remains anonymous. “It looks crazy, but again, it’s Diddy.”

That’s not all. Multiple sources told NBC News that the Grammy winner buys a “mood boosting” antidepressant; drinks liquor like Hennessy “smuggled in by guards;” and uses contraband cellphones to scroll X-rated content.

On NBC News’ Instagram, there’s a video of Combs in prison garb looking at what appears to be a mobile device with another individual.

According to the BOP’s website, prisoners are supposed to only make calls and read emails through an approved communications system.

“Studies show that when inmates maintain relationships with friends and family, it greatly reduces the risk they will recidivate,” it says.

Combs, by all accounts still a multimillionaire despite exorbitant legal bills, reportedly pays “thousands of dollars” a month for his creature comforts, the article adds. The money is deposited to the commissary accounts of those who work for him, the story adds.

A Bureau of Prisons spokesperson would not comment to NBC News on the singer’s situation at the New Jersey facility due to “privacy, safety and security reasons.”

“Like all correctional agencies, contraband, particularly cell phones, narcotics, and weapons, remains a constant challenge,” read the spokesperson’s statement. “And we continue to tackle the problem of contraband being introduced into our facilities.”

Another of Diddy’s reps, Ezra Hermann, told the Miami Herald that the focus is on appealing his sentence, and having him sprung immediately.

“The continued scrutiny of every mundane detail of Sean Combs’ life in prison has reached the point where the media characterizes ordinary prison life as news,” Hermann’s statement said. “The only real news is that Sean continues to serve his sentence within the rules and he patiently awaits the court’s decision on his appeal.”
