The Chargers will be coming to town for the matchup in KC, and fans will have something special to do that day. Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and his brother, Jason, announced Wednesday on their podcast that there will be a “New Heights” tailgate in the Truman Sports Complex.
It’ll be at Lot M from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Kickoff for the Oct. 18 game will be at 3:25 p.m.
“Outside of the merch, there’s going to be some free food, games, challenges, a DJ,” Jason Kelce said on the podcast. “Trav has always wanted to be a DJ. Trav, do you know who the DJ is going to be? I want to see. I want to see DJ Trav. Would that be your DJ name?”
Travis Kelce suggested DJ Yac or DJ Yac Man, a nod to his record for having the most yards after catch in NFL history.
The brothers clarified that Travis Kelce won’t be able to swing by the tailgate, because he’s playing that night.

“I will be there. Travis will also be there, but he will be getting ready to play a football game, so he will not be at the tailgate,” Jason Kelce said. “But you can go into the stadium and then watch the Big Yeti play. Best part is it’s completely free. All you gotta do is show up. Show up with your party hat on and get ready to cheer the Chiefs on in Arrowhead with all the other 92 Percenters.”
The nickname for listeners of the “New Heights” podcast is 92 Percenters. Details can be found on the Kelce brothers’ website.
