The 2026 WNBA Defensive Player of the Year will be playing in her first WNBA Finals — an impressive feat for the 24-year-old star in her first postseason appearance.

After the Dream secured a spot in the WNBA Finals, the 6-foot-4 forward reportedly took the team out to dinner. According to Page Six, the squad headed to Sei Less in New York after beating the Liberty.

The publication provided more details on Reese’s lavish decision.

“Angel was just exhilarated to be sharing the moment with her teammates,” a source told Page Six. “She and her teammates were just living in the moment and grasping the reality of being in the Finals and in position to win a title.”

Reese reportedly “spared no expense,” renting out a private room where the players played music, sang and danced throughout the celebration. The players reportedly dined on king crab legs, lobster spoons, oxtail spring rolls, chicken satay, short rib and shrimp dumplings.

Reese and Co. reportedly left the restaurant employees a “generous tip” to thank them for staying open late. They reportedly left the venue at around 3:30 a.m.

Reese has been instrumental to the Dream’s playoff run. Over the last five games, she averaged 18.0 points, 8.4 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.6 steals and 2.2 blocks.

Game 1 of the WNBA Finals will be held at Chase Center on Saturday. The Golden State Valkyries hold home-court advantage over the Dream.
