The Kings are hosting their annual free Fan Fest ahead of the 2026-27 NBA season, which begins Oct. 21 against the Los Angeles Clippers. The event runs from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Golden 1 Center in downtown Sacramento.
Kings General Manager Scott Perry will kick off the festivities with a “Chalk Talk” featuring NBC Sports California personalities Morgan Ragan and Deuce Mason. The Kings Dancers and Breakers will perform, while team mascot Slamson entertains the crowd.
Kings players will take the court for an open practice to close out the evening, competing in a series of skills challenges. Newcomers will also participate in the team’s annual rookie talent show.
Attendees can enjoy one free hot dog and a bag of popcorn, with additional concessions available at discounts of up to 50%. Fans can also shop for merchandise at the Kings Store, where select items will be discounted up to 70%.
The team’s newest healthcare partner, Sutter Health, will host a station where fans can make Kings-themed friendship bracelets and write letters of encouragement to patients at its hospitals. NBC Sports will also offer cheer cards featuring the Kings’ season schedule.
Though the event is free, fans must reserve tickets online to enter the event. Discounted parking for $5 at the Downtown Commons’ West Garage is available for pre-purchase online.
