Walker’s rushing total is also the most by any player through his first five games with a franchise. His production has featured explosive runs, strong contact balance and the ability to gain yards after defenders reach him.
The Chiefs signed Walker in the offseason after his time with the Seattle Seahawks, where he helped the team win Super Bowl LX and earned game MVP honors. His arrival has strengthened Kansas City’s ground attack and eased pressure on Mahomes.

Johnson established the touchdown benchmark with the Detroit Lions in 2011. The Hall of Fame wide receiver was known for his scoring production, making Walker’s place alongside him a notable achievement for a running back.
Kansas City now prepares for a Week 7 matchup against Seattle, Walker’s former team. The Seahawks enter the game at 3-3, adding another storyline to his return.
Walker’s opening stretch has made him one of the league’s most productive offensive players. Maintaining this level of production would give the Chiefs a powerful foundation as they pursue another deep postseason run as well.
