In that case, one particular playmaker could find himself being relocated after what would amount to a brief stint in Philadelphia.

Hollywood Brown Named Trade Candidate for Philadelphia Eagles

According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, teams across the NFL believe that veteran wide receiver Hollywood Brown could be traded in the coming weeks, as he’s been largely a non-factor in Philadelphia over the first six weeks of the season.

Sources: #Eagles WR Marquise “Hollywood” Brown is a name that teams seeking WR help believe could be traded in the coming weeks.

Brown has appeared in just one game for the Eagles on the season and hasn’t registered any catches. He missed a few games due to an ankle injury, but he was a healthy scratch for Philadelphia’s Week 6 loss to the Carolina Panthers.

The Eagles signed Brown to a one-year deal in free agency over the offseason, but he clearly hasn’t fit into the offense as they hoped, so trying to trade him in order to get back a bit of value, as opposed to just letting him walk in free agency, would be logical. A contending team looking to add an additional receiving threat for a playoff push could potentially be willing to part with a late-round pick to bring Brown to town.

Other Trade Options for Eagles

If the Eagles do end up serving as sellers prior to the deadline, there are several other players who could potentially be on their way out of town. Tight end Dallas Goedert is on the final year of his deal, and could fetch some value in a trade. The same could be said about cornerback Riq Woolen. Both of those guys could be nice additions for contending teams at their respective positions.

Other options include wide receiver Elijah Moore, linebacker A.J. Epenesa, and safety Marcus Epps. None of those guys are likely to stick in Philly beyond the current campaign, so it wouldn’t be especially surprising if any of them were moved, as the Eagles could aim to stack some draft picks for a bit of a retooling in the near future.
