The New York Knicks are back in the NBA Finals for the first time in 26 years, and they’ve gotten there in dominant fashion. Six Knicks scored double figures Monday night as they closed out a sweep of the Cleveland Cavaliers with a 130-93 victory – the third straight series they’ve closed out with a win of at least 30 points. The Knicks have won 11 straight games, and now they can rest up as they watch the Oklahoma City Thunder and San Antonio Spurs battle it out in the West.
The No. 1 seed and defending champion Thunder host the No. 2 seed Spurs Tuesday night (8:30 p.m. ET, NBA/Peacock) in Game 5 of a Western Conference Finals series that’s tied at two games apiece.
