The former UConn star who plays for the French national team has deep ties to the Bay Area, making her signing with the Valkyries a homecoming of sorts.<\/p>\n<p><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>The teams made a surprising trade on draft night last month as the Valkyries sent Flau\u2019jae Johnson to Seattle in exchange for Marta Suarez and a pick in next year\u2019s draft. Golden State waived Suarez last weekend in another surprise.
