County may ask voters<\/a><\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>Kristina Vazquez, 41, allegedly embezzled the money from the Elk Grove Junior Thundering Herd Youth Football and Cheer Program over the six years she served on its board, according to an Elk Grove Police Department news release.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>\u201cAccording to detectives, Vazquez used funds from the youth football account to pay for mortgage payments, car payments, plane tickets, hotels, Disneyland tickets, and other personal expenses,\u201d the release said.<\/p>\n<p><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>The two-year investigation included over 20 search warrants and record inquiry requests, according to the release.
