Nick Gaines, a spokesperson for the Police Department, said Friday that the cyclist collided with the rear of the vehicle. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators, Gaines said. A  described him as an avid cyclist who led group rides nearly every day, \u201cweather permitting.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>The publication reported that Swayne had organized rides ranging from 17 to 25 miles, often ending with a coffee stop, and had spent more than 15 years cycling.
