California voters can begin returning their ballots at an early voting site.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

While operating hours at early voting sites vary by county, polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo voters who arrive after the polls close may cast votes,\u201d according to the California Secretary of State website. However, voters in line when the polls close must be allowed to vote or drop off a vote-by-mail ballot, the California Secretary of State\u2019s Office said. But those who arrive after the polls close are not allowed to vote, even if people who were already in line are still voting.<\/p>\n
