The event was originally scheduled for Oct. 15 to Oct. 18 at the Nevada County Fairgrounds.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>New festival organizers said online that the cancellation was a \u201cnecessary step to come back better than ever\u201d in time for next spring. In their message to fans, they wrote that they \u201cneed some time\u201d to improve the festival.<\/p>\n<p><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are working with the Strawberry Music team to recharge, reinvigorate, and carry on the magic that Strawberry has always been known for,\u201d the organizers wrote. \u201cWe want to bring you the best possible festival experience moving forward.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>The new organizers did not respond to a request for comment from The Sacramento Bee.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/sandiegorelocationnews.com\/index.php\/2026\/06\/18\/kiley-says-biden-legitimately-won-2020-election-after-years-of-refusing-to-answer\/\">Kiley says Biden legitimately won 2020 election after years of refusing to answer<\/a><\/p>\n<p><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>In their cancellation announcement, the organizers referenced the death of Charlie Cran, the festival\u2019s  founder, and the need to keep his \u201cvision and legacy alive.\u201d Cran died Nov. 18 of heart failure, according to the website. The new organizers wrote that they are family members of Cran.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>The event got its start in 1982 and features music, food vendors, arts and crafts, and workshops.
