A Dollar Tree is coming to Orangevale at the Cable Park shopping center, becoming a new flagship business for the plaza.<\/p>\n

The discounted retailer, known for selling its merchandise for one dollar, will operate on 8861-B Greenback Lane. The store is anticipated to have a \u201cpre-Thanksgiving\u201d grand opening, but an exact date is still in the works, according to Kien Tsoi, the regional director of leasing for the Dollar Tree Stores, Inc.<\/p>\n

The store will be within the shopping center on Greenback Lane and Hazel Avenue, Tsoi wrote in a statement. This location will take place of the former CVS Pharmacy. Cable Park is 161,310 square feet and is currently anchored by a Ross and a Grocery Outlet, according to its property management.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are excited to open a new flagship Dollar Tree store in Orangevale,\u201d Tsoi wrote in a statement. \u201c…We have planned a 14,000 (square feet) Dollar Tree here with a full assortment of goods, health and beauty, snacks and seasonal selections.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dollar Tree Stores was founded in 1953 as a variety store called \u201cK.R. Perry\u201d in Norfolk, Virginia. The store franchise opened its first location under the Dollar Tree name in 1989, according to the company\u2019s website.<\/p>\n
