3 Wide Receivers Who Could Be Traded Before NFL Trade Deadline

Marvin Harrison Jr. has already changed teams ahead of the 2026 NFL Trade Deadline, with the Houston Texans sending the Arizona Cardinals their 2027 second- and seventh-round picks following Week 5 action to get the star receiver. That deal comes with the Nov. 10 cutoff getting closer.

The Minnesota Vikings and San Francisco 49ers are both 5-0 through five weeks, the Kansas City Chiefs are 4-0 coming out of their bye, and a handful of teams that opened September with Super Bowl hopes are still searching for answers. Harrison’s move shows how quickly a receiver on the wrong end of a depth chart can land somewhere new, and it raises the question of who might be next.

Three players stand out as names worth a phone call at the right cost, each for a slightly different reason this season.

Jerry Jeudy, Cleveland Browns

Rookies Denzel Boston and KC Concepcion are eating into Jerry Jeudy’s role with the Browns, as he’s playing a career-low 58% of the snaps with eight catches for 81 yards. That’s a sharp turn for the 2024 Pro Bowler, who went over 1,200 receiving yards that season.

According to reports, Cleveland wants an early third- or fourth-round pick. However, Concepcion’s concussion against the Jets could complicate those plans.

Brian Thomas Jr., Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jaguars may not be eager to move Brian Thomas Jr., but teams around the league keep calling. The 2024 first-round pick now sits behind Parker Washington and Jakobi Meyers in the receiving pecking order, and through five games he has nine catches for 105 yards and a touchdown, well off the pace of his 1,282-yard rookie season.

Still, a rival could look at what Houston did with Harrison and bet that a different offensive system would bring out the best in him.

Jauan Jennings, Minnesota Vikings

Minnesota signing Odell Beckham Jr. last week has put Jauan Jennings’ future in question. He has two catches for nine yards in four appearances, including two starts, a quiet stretch for a receiver who signed a one-year, $8 million deal after 975 yards in 2024 and a career-best nine touchdowns in 2025 with San Francisco.

Minnesota appears surprised by the lack of production, and the bye week looks like a natural time to revisit his role. The trade interest is expected to grow, and a return to the 49ers could make sense with Deebo Samuel sidelined by a hamstring injury.

Teams have until November 10 to make their moves.
