When Is The MLB All-Star Game?
The 2026 All-Star Game is July 14, 7 p.m. ET on FOX. Expect a lot of fireworks – literally and with the play – as America’s Pastime celebrates America’s 250th birthday.

The game features a youth movement while offering a nod to veterans who will eventually be in the Hall of Fame. A total of 11 players in the game are 24 or younger. A whopping 36 players will be making their All-Star Game debuts. One of them is not Mike Trout, making his 12th All-Star Game, the most of any player this season.

Who’s Playing in the All-Star Game?
Here’s the starting lineup for the American League:
1. Mike Trout (LAA), CF
2. Yordan Alvarez (HOU), DH
3. Shea Langeliers (ATH), C
4. Junior Caminero (TB), 3B
5. Bobby Witt Jr. (KC), SS
6. Cody Bellinger (NYY), RF
7. Ben Rice (NYY), 1B
8. Riley Greene (DET), LF
9. Ernie Clement (TOR), 2B
Blue Jays RHP Dylan Cease (6-4, 2.96), who nearly tossed a no-hitter in his last start, gets the ball to open the game for the AL.
And here are the starters for the home National League:
1. Kyle Schwarber (PHI), DH
2. Juan Soto (NYM), LF
3. Freddie Freeman (LAD), 1B
4. CJ Abrams (WSH), SS
5. Max Muncy (LAD), 3B
6. Ozzie Albies (ATL), 2B

9. Drake Baldwin (ATL), C
Cristopher Sanchez (LHP) gets to start for the NL in his home park. The Phillies ace is 11-4 with a 2.62 ERA.
The Phillies have six players on the National League roster, the most for any team since the Dodgers had six in 2022. A list of full participants can be found at MLB.com.

MLB All-Star Game Picks
The All-Star Game is always a bit of a crapshoot because you’re never really sure which starters will go more than two innings, when pitchers will be used (if at all), and if managers are strategizing to win or to make players happy.

The American League has won 10 of the last 12 All-Star Games. The AL has +110 odds to win, making them the underdog.
The Over/Under for total runs is just 8.0 and is being played at a historically hitter-friendly ballpark.
But over the last 19 All-Star Games, only two of them reached double-digit scoring. Only seven of the 19 have even gotten to eight total runs. Pitchers rule the ASG.
All-Star Game MVP Picks
Six of the last eight MVPs have been awarded to a non-starter. Seven of the eight were non-pitchers.
There’s no reason to bet big on this, but we can take the two non-starting position players with the lowest odds and dabble.
This year, the two reserves with the lowest odds are hometown hero Bryce Harper (+1300) and Rays DH Yanda Diaz (+2200).
