City Council approves start of Roseville Parkway expansion near the Galleria

Roseville City Council approved a $3.66 million contract for the first phase of traffic improvements along Roseville Parkway, a major corridor serving the Westfield Galleria at Roseville, and added $1.75 million to the project budget.

The additional funding will come from development and traffic mitigation fees rather than the general fund.

The project, to be built by Central Valley Engineering & Asphalt Inc., will widen Roseville Parkway between West Drive and Creekside Ridge Drive, add turn lanes, upgrade traffic signals, sidewalks and pavement markings, and make utility improvements.

Construction is expected to begin in summer 2026 and be completed by early 2027.

The council also authorized the city manager to approve change orders of up to 10% of the contract.
