For the Wings, they currently sit fourth in the standings with an 18-10 record thanks to their core led by Paige Bueckers, Arike Ogunbowale, Jessica Shepard and Azzi Fudd.
With Dallas looking like a championship contender this season, they may elect to make some upgrades to their roster ahead of the trade deadline and one player who they could target is Minnesota Lynx star Napheesa Collier.
Napheesa Collier Could Be Trade Candidate
Of course, Lynx may elect to hold onto Collier as they chase a championship this season, though The Athletic’s Annie Costabile reported Tuesday that the star forward should be considered a trade option due to her being in the final year of her contract and the fact that Minnesota has recorded the best record in the league despite Collier playing in only two games thus far.
With this report, Collier could draw interest ahead of the trade deadline and the Wings could be a team to show interest in her to add another star to make a run at a title.

In a potential trade, the Wings could send a package of Alanna Smith, Aziaha James and multiple first-round picks to the Lynx in exchange for Collier.

By making this trade, Dallas would add a superstar forward to their roster alongside Bueckers, Ogunbowale, Shepard, Fudd and the rest of their core, which could help boost their title hopes, though they would have to give up a large trade package to acquire her.
Despite this, adding Collier to their roster would provide Dallas with another star player who could be a great fit alongside their current core while also bringing them a dynamic weapon on both ends of the court.
While this trade could work out well for the Wings, especially with them looking to make a run at a championship this season, the Lynx may elect to keep Collier on their roster as they try to make a title run themselves.
