The Miami Marlins have recalled infielder Graham Pauley from Triple-A Jacksonville, giving the 25-year-old another opportunity in the majors as the club looks to build on its recent momentum.

Pauley rejoins Miami after spending the last few months at Triple-A Jacksonville, providing the Marlins with another left-handed bat capable of playing second base, third base and the corner outfield spots while the club continues its push in the National League Wild Card race.
Kevin Barral of Fish On First reported Tuesday that the Marlins recalled Pauley from Triple-A Jacksonville ahead of their latest series. The move adds another versatile defender to manager Clayton McCullough’s roster as Miami entered the day with a 60-59 record, sitting third in the NL East while remaining in postseason contention.

The promotion marks Pauley’s latest return to the big leagues after an up-and-down 2026 season. He has appeared in 41 major league games this year, batting .190 with one home run and 12 RBIs across 100 at-bats.

Pauley was previously optioned to Triple-A earlier this season after struggling offensively but remained healthy throughout his stint in Jacksonville, allowing him to continue receiving regular playing time before earning another opportunity with the Marlins.
McCullough now has another left-handed bench option who can play multiple positions during a demanding stretch of the schedule, giving Miami added flexibility for late-game matchups and defensive substitutions.
The Marlins have won two straight games entering Tuesday and will hope Pauley can provide depth as they continue chasing ground in the National League playoff race. While his offensive production has been limited in the majors this season, the organization will be looking for him to contribute in a utility role during this latest stint.
