No one in Los Angeles is satisfied with how the Rams have started the season. They’re 3-4 after seven games, grinding through a schedule that had some favorable matchups, as well as some difficult ones.

The playoffs are still well within reach, but if the Rams are going to make the postseason, they’re certainly going to earn it.
According to Ben Baldwin, the Rams’ remaining schedule is the toughest in the NFL. That’s based on the average remaining opponent win percentage against a league-average team on a neutral field.
The Rams’ schedule is clearly the toughest, with an opponent win percentage of more than 55% in such projections, while the Bengals’ is by far the easiest, well below 45%.
Their next three games are all against teams below .500, including the winless Chargers and the 1-4-1 Commanders. In Week 10, they’ll have a rematch with the Cardinals, who upset the Rams as 12.5-point underdogs.

After the Week 11 bye, the slate gets incredibly difficult. Only two of their final seven opponents are below .500 right now, and that includes a dangerous Cowboys team and a Buccaneers team that just blew out the Panthers.
- Week 12: vs. Green Bay Packers (4-3)
- Week 13: vs. Kansas City Chiefs (5-1)
- Week 14: at San Francisco 49ers (6-1)
- Week 15: vs. Dallas Cowboys (3-4)
- Week 16: at Seattle Seahawks (4-3)
- Week 17: at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-5)
- Week 18: vs. Seattle Seahawks (4-3)
The Rams aren’t looking ahead to their remaining schedule, but after looking at their final seven opponents, it’s abundantly clear just how important these next three games against the Chargers, Commanders and Cardinals are.
Los Angeles almost has to go 3-0 and get to 6-4 before the bye because there are some challenging games awaiting after the break.
