The Tennessee Titans are inching closer to their first preseason game of the season, as they are set to play at Levi’s Stadium (California) against the San Francisco 49ers. Ahead of this contest, which is set for Thursday, the Titans traveled to the state of California to have a joint practice with the 49ers just days before their regular preseason contest.

He finished the day with a total of two touchdowns, although he did make one major mistake, which was an interception that he threw. His two touchdowns were split between Tony Pollard and Calvin Ridley, who both have a crucial veteran role with the team in 2026, which is great to see the young gunslinger including the veterans of the group.

This was a massive day for Ward, as he showcased that he is continuing to develop, and he showed that he is taking a complete step forward from his rookie antics from the first season a year ago. Ward continuing to build as a player on the field and a leader in the locker room has been valuable to this franchise in ways that they haven’t seen much in the past due to who they had at quarterback. At this level, it is safe to say that a massive season could be on the horizon for Ward in 2026.
