Lincoln Regional Airport will open its gates to the community for the 15th annual Wings & Wheels event, bringing together aircraft, specialty cars, hot air balloons, food vendors, local artisans, and aviation exhibits.

The two-day event Friday and Saturday is expected to draw more than 10,000 visitors from throughout the Placer, Sacramento, Sutter and Yuba county region. The airport ramp will feature approximately 75 aircraft and more than 200 specialty cars, along with seven hot air balloons and a Youth Aviation Expo.

Friday evening: Moon Glow
Friday’s event begins at 5 p.m. with arriving aircraft, food trucks, and musical entertainment. The evening’s featured attraction will be a hot air balloon Moon Glow, weather permitting. Balloons will be inflated, tethered to the ground, and illuminated with spotlights for a nighttime display.
Admission Friday is $5 for adults, with free admission for anyone under 18.
Saturday: aircraft, cars and aviation exhibits
Saturday begins at 7 a.m. with a hot air balloon launch, weather permitting. Throughout the day, visitors can see aircraft ranging from home-built planes and general aviation aircraft to personal jets, a World War II-era A-26 bomber and an active-duty U.S. Coast Guard C-27.

The automotive lineup will include classic Rods & Relics, sports cars and exotic cars.
The Youth Aviation Expo will offer hands-on and educational activities, including flight simulators, a U-2 spacesuit and exhibits from the Aerospace Museum of California.
Saturday admission is $10 for adults, while those younger than 18 are admitted free. Parking is also free.
