Jack Singley, Bella Vista: Completed 17 of 20 passes for 213 yards and five touchdowns, three to Christian Taylor, who had 116 yards receiving, in a 48-9 win over Casa Roble. That is Bella Vista’s first win over the Rams since 2012.
Wes Mitchell, Del Campo: The sophomore made four interceptions, two of them returned for touchdown, including a 100-yarder, and he forced a fumble and recovered one in a 17-14 win over El Dorado. Del Campo is 2-0.
Chan Hicks, Lindhurst: Rushed 19 times for 240 yards and two touchdowns, and he was in on 13 tackles and made an interception in a 28-20 win over Marysville in the annual Battle of the Bell contest, the Blazers’ first victory over their rivals since 2009.
Dominic Cattolico, Granite Bay: Completed 16 of 22 passes for 214 yards and four touchdowns, two of them to Trey Johnson, as the Grizzlies moved to 2-0 with a 55-21 win over Cosumnes Oaks.
Jeremiah Brannon, Jesuit: Completed 14 of 21 passes for 170 yards and two touchdowns, and he rushed eight times for 93 yards and a score in a 40-7 win over Rio Americano to improve the Marauders to 2-0.
Josiah Hutchison, McClatchy: Completed 11 of 15 passes for 165 yards and three touchdowns, two of them to John Zulli, in a 29-26 win over Highlands to move the Lions to 2-0.
Lucas Rau, West Campus: Rushed 18 times for 172 yards and a touchdown, passed for a score and made four tackles in a 27-24 win over Delta in 8-man action. Teammate Luis Morales made two interceptions on defense.
Vinny Scott, Destiny Christian: Completed 9 of 14 passes for 148 yards and three touchdowns, and he ran for a score in a 49-0 win over Rodriguez to move the Lions to 2-0.
Hunter Felkins, Roseville: Completed 17 of 26 passes for 262 yards and two touchdowns, and he rushed for a score in a 35-31 win over crosstown rival Oakmont to move the Tigers to 2-0.

Malik Harris, Del Oro: Made four field goals, including the game-winner late, to beat Saint Francis of Mountain View on the road in moving the Golden Eagles to 2-0.
Kobe Edwards, River Valley: Rushed 31 times for 255 yards and two touchdowns, and he made five tackles on defense in a 14-12 win over Woodland.
EJ Cruz, Winters: Rushed 10 times for 134 yards and three touchdowns to go with eight tackles on defense, two for loss, as the Warriors improved to 2-0 with a 27-7 victory over Dixon.
Jarrett Sleeth, Nevada Union: Rushed 18 times for 142 yards and three touchdowns in a 30-15 win over Wood of Vacaville to move the Miners to 1-1.
Cash Stevens, Whitney: Rushed for 201 yards on 16 carries, made a team-high 11 tackles and recovered a fumble in a 13-0 win over Lincoln to move the Wildcats to 2-0.
Andrew Gerondakis, Golden Sierra: Completed 15 of 21 passes for 266 yards and two touchdowns to Cody McCoard, and he ran for a score in a 47-7 win over Galt.
Ryder Farrauto, Placer: Made six tackles, including 1.5 sacks, in a 14-7 win over Ripon to move the Hillmen to 2-0.
Graeson Howard, Colfax: Rushed 27 times for 244 yards and four touchdowns in a 46-14 win over Argonaut as teammate Adam Amatangelo passed for 246 yards and two scores.
Drew Browning, West Park: Accounted for 316 yards of total offense and scored three touchdowns in a 28-14 win over Vacaville to move the Panthers to 1-1.
Cody Haase, Yuba City: Rushed 11 times for 92 yards and three touchdowns in a 55-28 win over Christian Brothers to move the Honkers to 2-0.
