Carolina enters Sunday’s contest looking to grab a key victory at home to begin the season as the Panthers look to compete for their second straight NFC South title.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Sunday afternoon’s matchup, each may be without multiple key players due to injuries.
Bears Injury Report: Will Rome Odunze Play?
The Bears have four players listed on their injury report, including wide receiver Rome Odunze.
Chicago has listed Odunze as questionable due to a right calf injury and he is in danger of missing the Bears’ season opener.

If Odunze is sidelined, Luther Burden III, Kalif Raymond and Colston Loveland could all be in line for increased roles.
The Bears have also listed quarterback Tyson Bagent as questionable due to a back injury, and if he is sidelined, Case Keenum will be in line to back up Caleb Williams.

Offensive lineman Ozzy Trapilo has been listed as questionable due to a knee injury while defensive back Xavier Woods is questionable with a groin injury.
Panthers Injury Report: Will Jonathon Brooks Play?
The Panthers have only one player listed on their injury report as they have ruled out outside linebacker Pat Jones.
Carolina has ruled out Jones due to a back injury as he will miss the Panthers’ season opener.

The good news for the Panthers is that running back Jonathon Brooks is off the injury report and will play despite dealing with a groin injury.
