U.S. Senator Ted Cruz did not get the kindest reception to his appearance at Saturday night’s Texas vs. Ohio State game.

Cruz first made an appearance on ESPN’s “College GameDay” on Saturday morning. He was discussing the Protect College Sports bill. Cruz believes that college sports are a disaster right now and in need of saving.
Fans on the ESPN college football pregame show were heard booing Cruz repeatedly. Cruz later made an appearance at the game, which aired on ABC. Fans in the past have accused Cruz of “cursing” his favorite teams.
But it didn’t happen on Saturday night.
Saturday night, Texas rallied from a 20-point deficit to take down Ohio State. The Longhorns topped the Buckeyes, 24-23, to win the biggest game of Steve Sarkisian’s tenure in Austin, Texas.

Immediately following the game, Cruz taunted Ohio State fans and his critics.
“What curse?” he shared.
Cruz has a right to brag after Saturday night
While Cruz has certainly been on hand for some rough performances by Texas teams in the past, Saturday night’s game was one for the ages.
The Longhorns looked really bad for roughly three quarters, before breaking out and winning in epic, comeback fashion.
Texas has a lot to celebrate on Sunday morning, as the Longhorns moved to an impressive 2-0 o the year.

The Longhorns will probably welcome Ted Cruz back to future games now.
