The NFL is full of personalities across the league, from the players to the coaches to the announcers. Some fans, though, think it’s time for the league to ultimately replace three prominent announcers, following the Week 1 games.
Is it time for a change?
NFL fans have pointed to three prominent announcers that they feel need to be replaced following Week 1.
Terry Bradshaw
Bradshaw, 78, plans on working until he’s at least 80 years old. However, some NFL fans have suggested that it’s time for him to call it a career.
The four-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback has made some tough mistakes on the air in recent years. On Sunday, he went viral for saying he’d take Joe Burrow over Patrick Mahomes.
“Terry Bradshaw weekend recap… might be time to retire,” one fan added.
“Love Terry, but it’s time, man,” one fan added.
Pam Oliver
Oliver, 65, is one of the best sideline reporters in NFL history. The legendary NFL sideline reporter has struggled with migraines in recent years, though, and fans seem to think that her issues could be impacting her performance.
“Pam is a legend, but it’s time for her to call it a career,” one fan wrote.
“Will be sad to see her go, but I think it’s time,” one fan added.
Jonathan Vilma
The FOX announcer and former NFL linebacker faced public criticism from several fans on Sunday.
“I just can’t with Jonathan Vilma man,” one fan wrote.
Another added: “You should listen to him when he commentates when they play the Panthers. He HATES us and makes it very clear. You literally have to mute it as a Panthers fan.”
“Far and away the worst duo in the NFL.”
