Two people are accused of trying to steal and sell a multi-million dollar home in an expensive San Francisco neighborhood with views of the Golden Gate Bridge, authorities said.

In a civil lawsuit, officials accuse Brandon Aadee and Diana Peng of using forged signatures and altered deeds to try to claim the property, the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office said in a Friday news release.
“Defendants are effectively trying to steal a house and sell it to make millions in profit,” said City Attorney David Chiu in the release.
The home is in the Sea Cliff neighborhood, where Eugene Levy, Sharon Stone and Robin Williams once lived, SF Gate said. The neighborhood has views of the Golden Gate Bridge.
It is valued at more than $4 million, San Francisco’s KGO TV reported.
The former owners left the United States and owe $320,000 in back taxes on the home, the city attorney’s office said. The city seeks to auction the home to pay the back taxes.

In July 2025, Aadee produced a fraudulent deed transferring ownership of the home from the former owners to himself, officials said. He and Peng then transferred the home back and forth between themselves over the next 13 months.
The transfers involved at least five “forged notary signatures, fraudulent stamps, or attestations that were altered after notarization,” the city attorney’s office said.
Aadee and Peng also are accused of trying to sell the home in a quick under-market value sale, officials said.

The city is asking for the deeds to be declared invalid.
