Ranking All 138 College Football Teams After Week 2

Week 2 of the 2026 college football season is in the books, and it’s time to evaluate all of those results and rank all 138 teams in the nation. Texas takes the No. 1 spot after its win over Ohio State. The Buckeyes didn’t fall far in this week’s ranks, as coach Ryan Day’s team is still inside the top five. Georgia, Notre Dame and Indiana joined Texas and Ohio State as top-five teams after Week 2.

Michigan returns to the top 25 after a huge win over Oklahoma, while Oregon (No. 18) tumbled following its loss to Oklahoma State. The Cowboys jumped to No. 32 following that upset win over the Ducks. Duke is another team on the rise after Week 2, improving to No. 39 thanks to a win at Illinois.

Georgia Tech (No. 67), Arkansas (No. 84) and Washington State (No. 95) are a few teams on the decline in the rankings following losses in Week 2.

Boise State, Memphis, Tulsa, Navy, Western Michigan, New Mexico, North Dakota State headline the highest-ranked Group of 6 teams after Week 2.
