Jalen Brunson has built quite a life around basketball since arriving in New York and his latest career move has him enter the business world in a different way. The New York Knicks star is now building something away from the court with his family.

JB has quickly become one of the biggest names for the city’s sports fans. After leading the Knicks to their first NBA title since 1973, he was also named the Finals MVP after his 45-point performance in a 94-90 Game 5 win over the San Antonio Spurs. Brunson showed he is worthy of every single praise, averaging 32.6 points in the series.
Moreover, he is also set to host the Season 52 premiere of Saturday Night Live, becoming the first active NBA player in nearly two decades to take on the role.
Now, the 29-year-old guard is expanding his business portfolio, launching Thirty Third Management Group with his family. It is a brand advisory firm that will oversee his off-court ventures while representing clients across pro sports, business, and philanthropy.
“My family has been with me every step of the way, and everything we do is rooted in trust,” Brunson said, h/t NBA reporter Chris Haynes. “Thirty Third gives us the chance to take ownership of my off-court business, to build something that reflects who we are, and to do it together.”

The Knicks guard’s venture will have his mother, Sandra, as President, while his sister, Erica, will be the Director of Client Services. With that, Brunson’s longtime friend and former high school teammate Connor Cashaw will be the group’s Director of Business Development.
According to the company’s release, the management group plans to grow its roster of athletes and brands, with women’s pro sports as one of their focus areas.
