The decisive game in the best-of-three series is Wednesday in San José, with first-rounder Kruz Schoolcraft likely in line to pitch.
Schoolcraft followed right-hander Jesus A. Castro in the previous series.
Castro struck out three and allowed two runs on five hits and a walk in 4⅔ innings in Tuesday’s start.
The Storm scored their lone run on Tuesday on a double steal in which Elliot Lascelles swiped second and Dawson Willis stole home for a 1-0 lead in the third inning.

The loss snapped a three-game winning streak in the postseason for the Storm, who last won a Cal League title in when Jackson Merrill starred on the team in 2022.

SS Mason McCoy (.767 OPS) went 1-for-4 with a double, four RBIs, a walk and a run scored. 3B Gage Workman (.526 OPS) went 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored. RHP Ian Koenig (309, 2.45 ERA) allowed a run in six innings in the win.
