(6) Santa Fe Christian at Army-Navy Academy
Preview: Santa Fe Christian is 4-0 to start the season, has won 17 of its last 18 games and 26 of the last 29. Led by quarterback Dax Labrum, who has committed to Cornell, the Eagles have outscored their opponents 191-27 and are ranked No. 52 in the state. Labrum has completed 69 of 93 passes for 1,141 yards with 15 touchdowns and no interceptions. There are 14 receivers with a catch, led by Chase Wooley’s 27 catches for 555 yards. Cruz Campbell has nine catches for 116 yards and three scores. Brodie Stuart has 28 carries for 120 yards. … Army-Navy is off to a 3-1 start behind Vincent Leatherman, who has 58 carries for 547 yards and seven TDs. Jacob Eastley has 15 carries for 245 yards and 21 receptions for 412 yards. Brayden Baumbach has thrown just 56 passes, but has completed 33 of them for 445 yards and six touchdowns. The Warriors’ only loss this season was to CIVICA of North Las Vegas. … SFC has won the last four games against Army-Navy, outscoring the Warriors 114-41. But the score was a very competitive 35-20 last season.

Mt. Carmel at Fallbrook
Preview: Mt. Carmel (0-4) is off to what appears to be a miserable start. But the Sundevils lost by four points to Westview, one point to La Jolla Country Day and 13 points to Central Union. … Fallbrook (3-1) fell 35-6 to Valley Center last week.
Prediction: Mt. Carmel 27, Fallbrook 24
Grossmont at Otay Ranch
Preview: Grossmont (3-1) has 1,633 yards of total offense, with quarterback Tyler Holmes accounting for 1,145 of them. Last week, the Foothillers lost 28-20 to ninth-ranked Point Loma. … Caleb Delaughter leads Otay Ranch (2-2), which lost 57-33 last week to Patrick Henry. Delaughter has passed for 969 yards, while Brayden Hyman has 14 receptions for 305 yards.

Montgomery at Mar Vista
When: 5 p.m.
Preview: After an 0-2 start, Montgomery has rallied to win its last two and even its record at 2-2. Reyes Bonnett has thrown for 518 yards and eight touchdowns. Marquis Benton had 45 carries for 468 yards. … Mar Vista (2-2) had a rough time last week, losing 56-6 to Valhalla. Braylon Shumate is the offensive leader with 131 rushing yards and 281 receiving yards.

Coronado at Maranatha Christian
Preview: After two losses to open the season, Coronado (1-2) beat Classical Academy last week. Jack O’Sullivan has thrown for 546 yards to lead the Islanders. Reese Pagon has 13 receptions for 215 yards. … Maranatha Christian (4-0) is one of the hottest teams in the San Diego Section, winning 16 of its last 17 games and scoring at least 40 points in 13 of those games. The Hawks have outscored their opponents 186-32 this season Colin Leonard throwing for 500 yards and nine TDs. Ryan Niguidula has 37 carries for 327 yards and 10 TDs. … Maranatha Christian beat Coronado 42-35 last season.

Preview: On paper, Chula Vista (0-4) is off to a rough start. But the Spartans have lost by five points to El Capitan, by seven to Patrick Henry and two to Santana. … Olympian (1-3) blew out Vista, but has dropped its last two games to Christian and Mission Bay.

Mater Dei Catholic vs. St. Augustine
Where: Mesa College
Preview: Mater Dei Catholic (0-4) has been outscored 164-74, including a 63-0 loss last week to Cathedral Catholic. … St. Augustine (0-3) is winless, but the Saints have been competitive in every game, losing by four to Rancho Bernardo, by five to Del Norte and seven to Helix.

Preview: Cathedral Catholic (1-2) opened with losses to Orange Lutheran and Chandler (Ariz.), both of whom are ranked among the top 31 teams nationally. The Dons (1-2) then had a 63-0 win over Mater Dei Catholic last week and are ranked No. 38 in the state. Koa Smith-Mayall has thrown for 627 yards and run for 130. Isaac Cook has 13 catches for 240 yards and Honor Fa’alve-Johnson has 125 rushing yards … Helix (3-1) lost to Santa Fe Christian in the season opener, but has ripped off three wins in a row and is ranked No. 77 in the state. Caden Thompson has thrown for 523 yards and Jacob Andrew-Johnson has 14 catches for 202 yards.
