Sophie Cunningham and the Indiana Fever are set to return from the WNBA break, taking on Sandy Brondello and the Toronto Tempo on Friday night. Before Team USA secured gold at the 2026 FIBA World Cup, the Fever had secured a 26-14 record, good for fifth place in the league standings, most recently coming off a 111-91 win over the Brittney Griner-less Connecticut Sun on August 28.

While Cunningham has shined on the court during her two years in Indiana, the former Missouri guard has also built a solid portfolio away from basketball. This includes her podcast “Show Me Something,” which she debuted in July 2025 alongside her co-host West Wilson. But Cunningham decided to make a change to the podcast in June 2026, replacing West with basketball trainer Drew Hanlen and rebranding her podcast to “No Hesitation.”
And during a recent episode of her podcast, Cunningham discussed a young Washington Mystics star, whom she will face in Indiana’s next game on Sunday.
Sonia Citron, after a college career with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, was selected by the Mystics with the No. 3 pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft. And it didn’t take long for the guard to adjust to the pros, averaging 14.9 points and 4.0 rebounds during her rookie year, earning WNBA All-Star honors. She has continued her success into her second season in 2026, even helping Team USA secure gold in Berlin at the World Cup.

Cunningham and the Fever will hit the road to face the Tempo on Friday at 7:30 p.m. ET, before returning home to take on Citron and the Mystics on Sunday at 4 p.m. ET.
