It has only been two weeks, but South Carolina (2-0) and Mississippi State (2-0) have both made a huge splash. The two teams still have a rough road the rest of the way in the SEC, and as good as they’ve been, the loser will likely still have to fight just to go bowling.
Mississippi State embarrassed Minnesota 38-13 on the road after hanging 62 on the board in the season opener. South Carolina has yet to be tested, but it beat Kent State and Towson by a combined score of 102-9.
