Two juveniles were cited after riding e-motorcycles through the Westfield Galleria mall Friday night, according to the Roseville Police Department.

Mall security and Roseville police officers spotted three people on the devices about 8 p.m. Their “speed and behavior were not only reckless but dangerously disruptive,” the Police Department said in a news release, though the agency did not detail that behavior.
Security cameras also captured footage of the group.
Officers stopped two of the riders, and their e-motorcycles were towed as evidence. The juveniles were cited on suspicion of reckless driving and driving without a license, and the charges were forwarded to juvenile prosecutors, police said. Authorities did not provide information about the third rider.

E-motorcycles, or e-motos, are off-highway vehicles and are illegal to operate on city streets, according to the California Department of Motor Vehicles.
