A 15-year-old girl was arrested early Friday after fleeing Sacramento County sheriff’s deputies and crashing into two other vehicles in the South Natomas area, leaving one driver hospitalized, authorities said.

Deputies spotted a vehicle traveling without its lights on about 2:12 a.m. near West El Camino Avenue and Interstate 80, said Sgt. Ed Igoe, a Sheriff’s Office spokesman. Deputies attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver fled and a pursuit began, Igoe said.
The pursuit ended when the teen crashed into two vehicles near El Centro Road in an unincorporated area of Natomas just north of Sacramento’s Willowcreek neighborhood.

Deputies detained the girl and took her to a hospital to be checked out, Igoe said. She was later medically cleared and booked into Sacramento County Juvenile Hall.
One of the other drivers was taken to a hospital with injuries. The person was upgraded from critical to stable condition later in the morning, Igoe said. A second driver struck in the crash was not injured, he said.

It was not clear what charges the teen would be facing.
