The Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office will pay tribute throughout October to Deputy Charles Riely, who lost his life in the line of duty one year ago.

“Shine a Blue Light for Charles Riley” will memorialize the fallen officer, and the sheriff’s office is asking the public to take part in the memorial.
As part of the pledge never to forget Deputy Riley, IPSO will shine a blue light at homes in his memory throughout the month of October.
The sheriff’s office invites the community to join the IPSO family in the tribute by shining the blue lights as an honor to Deputy Riley’s life, service and sacrifice.

A limited number of blue light bulbs are available for those who wish to participate.
The lights are available while supplies last at the following locations:
- Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office, on the first floor of the Iberville Parish Courthouse, 58050 Meriam St., Plaquemine.
- Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office Eastbank Substation, 2085 East La. 30, St. Gabriel.
- Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office Maringouin Substation, 77180 Ridgewood Dr.
